ranger gt marchal foglights

does anyone know where i can aquires a set of Marchal foglights for my ranger gt?

-try looking for '88 1/2 and '89 Escort GTs......they use the same lamp.......otherwise, are u looking for new or used?......i have some of both, and even though the lamp is obsolete thru Ford, there are MANY still on dealers shelves.....

i was hoping for a original set thats still in good shape, but i would buy a new set just to have the correct one downthere. but for finding them o dealers shelves, where would i look for them?

-go to your local Ford Dealer. he can run a locator for you on that part # so you can get the ones closest to you. or furtherest if you prefer....also have them run E8TZ-15200-C. that is a kit that will include two lamps. oh....and Rangers used Valeos not Marchals....

try e-bay. i've seen some authentic new marchall lamps that were used on the escort gt, mustang, even ranger. some are old used ones, some are new lamps from europe unfortunately, the new ones cost about $300-$400.

-as stated before, the CORRECT fog lamps for a GT are Valeo. of course you can put walmarts on if you so choose and be fine. but he is asking for originals, but the NOS Valeos will only run about $100 each...........

this is the site that i recieved my info about the gt from. i found it thru TRS in the TOTM gallery, but i will look into the Valeo kit giving that one of the previous owner Hacked them out of the truck! Thanks, ill let you know how it turns out when i find the extra$$$ Which should be soon!!!

yeah, i forgot the ranger gt had the smaller fog lamps... the marchall's with the cat on the lens are the sh*t, though

-duh.....sorry edge....i also had a bad memory lapse......Marchal lamps ARE Valeo lamps. if you check on their website, you will see that Valeo purchased the Marchal Lamp business sometime between 1950 and 1970. so the GT fog lamps do SAY Valeo, but they also do have the cat head on them....my apologies for not remembering or looking at a lamp other than walking by them on my truck......

Ciebe Series 35 or 135 lamps are mechanically identical as they were also
made by the same parent company.

the lens, reflectors and front bezels will simply screw onto the Marchal "cat" lamps.
The Ciebe 35 or 135 lamps are far superior due to their better lenses,
But the Ciebe lamps are nearly "unobtanium" because the importer went
out of buisness in the early 90's

You can also find these Marchal 150 Valeo lamps on the Yugo GVX. With whatever lamps you get, dont be suprised if they are upside down when you mount them. I used some from an Escort GT on mine, and the mounting tab on the lamps was on the opposite side of that of a Ranger GT. I just drilled a hole in the lower part of the fog light mounting bracket and all was good.

Mine had Marchal lights on it with the cat. Came with a pair of black Marchal covers for it too.
