Ranger front light bar

I could build one but it would have mount behind the bumper or in the tow hook brackets but they may be to close

Here is a shot of the front receiver on my Ranger. I want to mount it to the area on the outside of the fog lights that I have since removed. I think this is where the tow hooks would mount? There is two great points to attach the light bar brackets there.

Our issue is that unlike most trucks the Rangers tow hooks are mounted in the centre close together.

The super duty has the best location for it.

I'll have to take a good look at my Ranger and see what points are hiding about.

Correct, Bro. I would think the light bar should be 3 to 4 inch diameter and be approx. 32 inches long and the mounting brackets would be approx. 22 to 23 inches apart to fit and look great on our smaller Rangers!!! I think two light would be plenty or at least no more than three light tabs mounted.

That would look nice, a little thick though. I have a lightforce license plate mount and it's only 1.5-2 inch tube and personally thats how I would build mine.

Ohh, Sorry. I am wrong on the diameter. I measured some round bar stock I have in the garage and that is beefy. I should have said my Yakima roof rack crossbars. That would be a great size. Everything looks bigger in Texas and Florida, Dorthy!!!! lol
