Hey guys, i still can not figure out why the truck is shuttering so bad in 1st and 2nd. I was hoping someone could tell me what angle the transfer case yoke needs to be at, along with what the pinion angle needs to be. I am running a 9", which may throw it off, maybe not.

I'm running the stock BW1354E transfer case and the M501-D or whatever its called manual.

I think the transmission is gone, but I want to make sure i have these angles correct before installing the new one.

Any help would be great.

Sorry for the noobish question

any help on what the angles should be? Maybe some of you guys running 63's could let me know what angle your axle is at, and anyone who has a 4wd 4.0 manual could let me know the angle of the output shaft on the T-Case.

you checked your u joints and they are all good? how about the clutch and fly wheel? i'm more used to grinding noises, whines, etc., from a bad tranny or tc, not the vibrations you are describing. just a thought.

My truck shuddered because it had gear oil instead of ATF in the M5OD. Fluid change and 200 miles of driving fixed it.

I found out what the problems were. This thread is asking what is the angle of the output shaft on the transfer case. Where we built a custom crossmember, i want to make sure mine is at the correct degree.
