ranger dash speakers

will 4 inch speakers fit in the dash of an 84 ranger with minimal mod

mine did. i just drilled the needed holes for them right through the speaker covers. the po had already hacked up the brackets under them anyway. works great. then i found another pair of the speaker covers and am keeping them nice in case i ever sell it so the dash won't look trashed.

i like my fostgate power speakers but the dont make a 3.5 lol is there a radio like they make for broncos to where it will look like a factory ford radio but it has usb

wat kinda mileage does your ranger get

i'm getting 21 on the highway. but i run a little heavy because i have a 27 gallon aux gas tank mounted in the bed. not bad for a 27 year old v6, imho.
don't know of any radio like you're wanting really. i have an older panasonic that just has the typical green display so i don't get distracted by all the bright colors of the new ones. it also has weather with SAME reporting that i need. i'm using Sansui 4 inch speakers, again older and not being made anymore. they have a little deeper bass than the other pioneer's, dual, etc. speakers i tried.
