yea, id duraspark it too, what years do they stop requiring emisions testing on?
In PA's emissions counties all vehicles 1975 through 1995 are required to pass a visual anti-tampering and gas cap leak-down test.
Kip is in a non-emissions county, but his vehicle still has to pass a visual anti-tampering inspection that is part of the "42 county enhanced safety inspection program".
In other words, he is still subject to the visual part of the pre-OBDII emissions test, but unlike that test, if a part appears to have been disabled they are allowed to see if it is actually working. To get rid of the feed-back carb his best bet (legally anyway) is to go EFI.
