1990 or 1991 not sure Ranger Clutch pedal assembly into a 1994 Explorer . Anyone done it ? Thanks

I know people have swapped whole dashes. And seats. The firewall has to be substantially similar. I don't see why not.

I went 93 Explorer into a 90 Ranger . Only thing was the rod for master cylinder was to short . Not a problem though .

It ought to work. They made 4.0l manual trans Explorers. I was in one at the junk yard a few days ago.

I know. Just got the ECM today for a 94 Explorer with a 5 speed . Also got serial number of vehicle in case I need another one programmed. Thanks

I swapped the manual pedals from an 85 Ranger into the automatic bracket on my ‘94 Explorer Limited. I didn’t feel like pulling the dash back and swapping the bracket. If you drop the E-brake pedal, you’ll have just enough room to install the clutch pedal w/ the pivot shaft.

Those are quite a bit different at least between a '85 Ranger and a '89 Ranger. The brake pivot is a lot bigger on the second gen.

It was a bugger getting the pedals swapped in my '85, there was a harness right there in the way. 1 gauge heavier wire on any of the wires and I don't think it would have happened without pulling the bracket.

If you don't have one to look at here is the pedal set out of a '91 Ranger:
