Ranger 2,9i ->2,9i 24V ???

Hi folks,

did anybody hear if its possible to swap the ranger 2.9i against the 2,9i 24V from the ford Scorpio Giha. The engin has 207 horspowers (60 more ) and all the advantages of a V6 injection (moderate fuel consumption , little weight, ... )

I dont know if this engin is available in the US, but here in europe it is cheap and common.

Question is if it fits. I know that the airintake is gowing to the wrong side, but that schouldnt be a problem. dos anybody know if the engin mounting point and the gearbox bolts are the same? and if there is enough space?

the 24v 2.9 was never available in the us,most popular engine swaps here for the ranger are the 4.0 V-6 and the 5.0 V-8
