I have a water leak that is entering the cab and am trying to locate the problem.

On hard rainy days water is collecting somewhere in the interior duct work on the passenger side, maybe something to do with the heater/a_c. After it rains and it has been sitting for a while, when I go to take off(drive), I here water pouring into the cab from the passenger side. Sounds like a cup of water being poured out onto my floor board. The last two days has been raining non-stop and my passenger side is soaked.

Located where it is pouring out from, but don't know what it is. Books aren't telling me much. After searching the board found this pic.

What is that rectangular access to the right of the heater core assembly. This is where I think the water is coming from.

What is it connected to that might allow water in? Was thinking air vents to A/c or something. How do I access: interior or from under the hood.

Thanks.

Maybe this pic will help:

Haven't had the chance to tackle this yet. Can anyone here help me out. I outlined the duct with a white box.
