railmans build thread....

Are you not going to lift any more? Looks like your tires are gonna end up in your bedside if you flex.

Nice work! Did I miss any steering mods or is it still stock ranger pump? What's the wheelbase did you stretch it much? Looking good

stock Ranger pump for now....pretty sure will be doin Hydro assist....

wheelbase was stretched 4" in front.....so at 130" now....but, planning to shorten the rear....

Glad to see you got it on 4 wheels again...I would have had SVT rollin around last weekend but a sudden school trip cancelled those plans...Now I'm stuck in UTAH for a few more weeks :annoyed:

Good work man! How much room do you have over your front diff? I bet the leafs help with the up travel.

Just one thing I saw you will want to change.....your tierod. Remove the missalignment spacers, and drill the knuckle out for 3/4" bolts. You don't need the spacers and the bigger bolts will be nice.

i think theres a scratch there under your door handle.....

looks sick though :D

thanks:icon_confused:

I have since put bumpstops on/removed factory coilbuckets.....and trimmed the front crossmember...gonna put it on the RTI ramp out back as soon as I get the shafts in....

also, the misalignments were only on the knuckles to measure for the tierod ( in the pic you can see they aren't welded yet and the knucks weren't drilled )....it now has been drilled and 3/4" bolts installed....

also, I cut the fenders/bed today for clearance.....as well as redo my front bumper...

what did you use for leafs and shackles? im digging the stance of it!

4 door EX leaves and stock Ranger shackles....basically kept my axle centerlines same as with my old lift ( back wasn't changed at all )....plus was able to move front axle forward 4"....

I believe they would be a little light for a full size rig, especially a one ton. What motor you running in the 350??

but, as Rick said...they would be too light for a F350....

and what year F350 ya talking about???.....cause they all used leaves up front on 4x4's up until like 04ish....and if my memory serves me right I think the brackets just bolt on.....
