I haven't broke it down yet but if it's gouged out to bad I'm just going to weld the egged out part back into a roundish shape, put in a set of good bushings and drive the hell out of it for another 10 years.
B.T.W. I've known that the bushing was getting ready to go for a while. I just didn't think it was going to go out in such spectacular fashion! I instantly knew it went when the right side tire started rubbing the inner fender and metal lip. smoked up pretty good too!
Thank god I had a tie down strap to pull the suspension far enough forward to get me home.
I just went out and looked at it and the back bushing on the passenger side is GONE as in missing, not there etc etc etc. as is the heat shield too but I bet I know where they both are. you can also see where the washer has been beat from smacking the frame (which also has a matching indentation.)
