radio transmitter?

i bought a scoshe radio transmitter to allow my phone to play music over a radio station since my ancient pioneer cdplayer has no aux. out put. when i play the music its not near as loud or bassey as if it were through a cd or the radio? is it just because its going through the converter?

More then likely. I have never had good luck with those transmitters giving out any kind of decent sound. You can get them to play just fine but its not the loudest or bassiest as you said.

Although maybe a higher end one from like Belkin or something might work better.
