My credo
A properly suspensioned Ranger can be safely airborne for up to 4 seconds at a time! =:O
Whew! Thought I'd sprung a rad leak, but it appears to be just the cap. But that original cap looks LOW PROFILE (hood clearance issue?), so I'm not sure an aftermarket item will fit...?

Also, the Stants all say either 13psi or 16psi, whereas my OEM cap says 15psi... problem?

Thanks in advance...

there are no clearence issues.

if you get the right cap, it will be rated for the right PSI....but going down a few PSI isnt going to hurt anything.

Stants are fine. I was going to get an OEM one for my truck, but the dealer wanted over $20. No thanks.

I'd get the 16 lb. cap. My truck's OEM cap was 16 lbs.

mr. gasket makes one with a built in temp gauge for about $25. i got one when my temp gauge stopped working and it was too cold to work on the truck

D'OH!!... my OEM cap says 16 lbs. too... wuz readin' it upside down is all... Actually seemed to stop leaking when I installed it "right side up", but that coincided with a cold front blowing in... I figure fair warning's been given, do the swap.

Thanks for the feedback... $9 Stant is in place, fingers crossed.
