Looks really good...minus the broken leaf. That part sucks.

lol yeah..its ok. i have been needing a new leaf pack for a while now so i guess this is some motivation

Trucks lookin good. By the way, do you know of a place that sells a cheap bender that doesn't kink?

And if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for those bedsides anyway?

I would keep an eye out for a used JD2, that would probably be your best bet. Only paid $275 for the bedsides..crazy good deal.

Definitely a good deal. I was looking at some bedsides online and they were plain, with a 4" flare for $400 + plus shipping. I prettymuch have to buy new, because shipping on stuff from the west coast is expensive and there isn't any local action with pre-runner equipment. Even the race trucks around here just cut fenders. I was going to go with glass because it's kind of a state law that vehicles need to have fenders that match the width of the tires or pass them in my state, since I was going to do a 9" swap down the line and I hate the look of bushwacker type flares. Right now I'm just collecting information and items for my lift and upgrades. Actually, right now I'm working on a deal with a guy for his fullsize axles and 302 when he gets his new truck. Rust devoured his fenders and bedsides so he's looking to get rid of the truck cheap.

yeah the shipping is what gets ya..thats why I waited untill i went to an expo so I didn't have to deal with it. I gotta away with pulled bedsides for quite sometime, I would do that way before doing a bushwacker style.

Hey man,

First off congrats on your build. It's looking really good.

I had a quick question for you. I've already done the Chevy 64 inch leaf swap, but I haven't re-arched them yet. Right now i just have a 2 inch block in the rear with terrible travel. I was wondering what kind of bilstein you had before you switched to the fox shocks? I need some kind of idea on what shock to get after I re-arch the leaves, but one that doesn't completely break the bank. :)

thanks man, they were just a 14" 5100 series, dont temember the valving #'s ther worked good for jumping in pismo but def. wouldn't hold up in the desert, but either do my fox 2.0s...looking for some 2.5 SAWs or maybe even some bypasses as well as an LT leaf pack.

Well there's only three 14 inch travel 5125's.
Travel Valving Ext. Collapsed
F4-BE5-6250-H5 14.30 255/70 34.90 20.75
$75.70
F4-BE5-6250-T5 14.30 298/36 34.90 20.75
$75.70
F4-BE5-6250-T7 14.30 270/50 34.90 20.75
$75.70

I'm really new at off road performance shocks. I know the valving has a lot to do with how stiff the shock is and how it rides, but how do the numbers relate to the stiffness?

dude your truck is bad ass!!!! i wish i could have some thing like that here in maine...and a place to use it
