RaceRangers Build

Actually I think that the weight difference isnt much but I would say go with the 4.0 so that when my trucks done I will be able to race against you in 1500.

oorr we could both compete with 2.3s lol either way your goin down brotha..j/k..how is your truck coming?

Is the main leaf still of a 1/2 ton chevy. Care to elaborate on the leaf setup and travel? Thanks. Thinking of following your lead and getting rid of my old Nationals.

put the tail lights in...still need to buy turn signals

yes top and second are 1500 leafs and the rest i BELIEVE are a full s-10 pack, all arched to 15"..the pack itself cycles about 18" but is limited by my 16" shocks.

Tails look good. I remember when this truck was still just past stock, you've gone a long way since then.

Thanks man..yeah it sure is allot different. it's wierd to think about what i would be up to these days had I not happen to see this truck on craigslist years ago lol. Probably wouldn't even be into prerunners at all ha

oh and finally replaced the slicks last night with some new 33" A/Ts..porbably gunna get rid of them soon and go with a mud terrain though

HaHa ya we'll see about that. Its been kinda slow lately I dont know if I showed you it but I did get those shackles on but thats about it. Truck's been on the back burner for a while still tryin to decide what im gonna do in the front. oh ya the lights look bad ass, its lookin killer.

thanks man, we all need to have a meet and go play around at that trck we made in selma, good jumps and a few full speed runs. We both need to test out our new leaf packs.

Ya definitely, maybe we should set up the meet and meet in like the walmart parking lot or something and then head out.

Truck is looking good. You need to clean up your wiring though. I am assuming that you are waiting to get your turn signals in first. Why ditch the A/T's? I have been running BFG MT KM's they are great on the rocks but have a tendency to chunk out on the rough stuff at speed, and they dig in the sand. I am actually looking to go to an aggressive A/T for my next tire. It is a hard decision though since it seems that most race trucks that are not running projects or equivalent are 50/50 M/T to A/T.

yeah just waiting till i do the turn signals before i insulate it all and what not. The whole truck needs to be gone through and cleaned up, just been really busy with work and school. About the tires, basically I just want something more agressive with a beefier sidewall not necisarilly a mud terrain. I might cut out the front end and run a 35" a/t, that would probably satify me. We'll see..idk if my spindles will handle a 35. Just might have to make a set of D44 beams this summer.

finally I can REEEAAALLY jump this thing :D
