Raceranger's 4x4 Build

Last edited:
Lots of progress lately. Laser cut adapters to run the F350 brakes. Rebuilt the rear drive line with a longer rear tube as well as a Mitchmade billet carrier bearing. Just about ready to tear apart the front.

What a cool video, man. The trucks look great.

Outstanding work..I love your 97 ranger. Two amazing trucks. What is your daily driver?

Thanks! Two main “normal” vehicles are a 19 F-150 and a 22 Bronco. Wife mainly drives the Bronco though.

You definitely don't half ass anything! Looking good for sure

Sorta tuning in late...this new ranger you're building is superb. When you went into the mountains and pictures are absolutely spectacular.

How's driving a efi 5.0 vs carb 5.0? Any real difference between them? I'm sure in the mountain elevations efi is great as no need to adjust like a carburetor.

The stock 5.0 is a big sluggish at the moment, but yes very nice for the high elevation trails. Took it to 9k ft and it didn't seem to care at all.
