I have removed the RABS module and am now running rear disks. The ABS light on the dash is now on and I would like it off.

Does anyone know which fuse is for the ABS? I looked in the operators manual but didn't see one. It did show a relay for it but when I removed it the light remained on. Yes I know I can just remove the bulb but didn't want to pull the cluster to pull the one bulb right now (planning to install LED's soon).

Anyone know if I could put a jumper wire on the connector for the module to fool the computer into thinking it was there? Or any other ideas.

Thanks
Steve

Simplest solution I can think of is to put the RABS hydraulic module back in the truck, hook up the elctrical connections but leave the hydraulic connections off.

Just a question, why remove the RABS module when converting to disks?

I didn't even think about reinstalling the module. Wonder if I still have it (doubt it)?

I removed it after much research on here on why my brakes weren't very strong after the change to the rear disk and the 1/2 brakes on front with the D44 outers. One member had removed his and his braking improved. Mine didn't but I still left it off (because i think I have thrown it away). I ended up installing a master cyl from a 3/4 dodge and the braking is AWSOME now. Never have my brakes been so strong.

Um, take the cluster out and remove the bulb. You took the rest of the system out, now ditch the offending light bulb.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...;missingteeth;

I realize I can remove the bulb but was looking for a short term solution until I get my LED's for the dash.
