Quik question on lift height and a friendly warning

I'd hesitate to get the 6" coils unless you're open to dropping the axle down to the 6" hole (although this will then bring back the need to mod the steering, as it'll be off enough to make it wacky even on the stiff coils).

I could be off on my measurements though, it was probably 8 years ago I had the 4" coils. I had to run pretty good sized spacers on them to make up for the weight of my winch & mount, and the two big #27 batteries under the hood to be at 4" lift. The 6" coils I have now are right about 15" loaded (maybe a little over) with all that weight on them.

Both me a buddy have the 6" SJ springs on our supercabs. His he got used so they've already settled and they measure about 15-15.5. If 4x4Junkie said the 4" springs were 13.5" on his reg cab and would be 14-14.5 on your BII, I'd say the 6" coils would be around 16-16.5 on your BII.... Maybe a little more since supercabs are so heavy.

I put my front end in Tues, and this is what my flex looked like today. The passenger rear tire was barely resting on the ground.

Hope this helps.

Oh P.S. all that stuff I bought from you is working great, thanks again.

Ok all that is good to know. So maybe the 4" coils with some washers will be just fine.
