ive got a 91 4x4 auto and here lately it seems like its having a hard time starting. ill drive the truck,park it and when i come back out it acts like the battery is bad. (cranks slow and sometimes wont turn over) alt. is charging at 14 volts and the battery sits at 12.8v. im thinking the starter might be going bad. it doesnt do that all the time though,when it does if i wait 2-3 minutes the thing will start with no problem though. it does crank a few times to start also,which might be a different concern. if i tap (not pump)the gas pedal it wil start up easier also. any one have the same issues?
