im looking at an amp for christmas. me and my dad just sat down, found a website when i saw this. the price thing has me worried. i know its not a big brand name. idk if any of you have ever worked with this brand before. any opinions?

i also have another question. when it says RMS 200w x 4 channel..... does that mean that each speaker will get a RMS of 200W or does it get split up to 50W?

and if i get this what size speakers should i get? 200W?

It says 200W x4, meaning 200 per channel, but you won't get that out of that amp...Stick with MTX, Kicker, Sony or some other brand name, these are not high priced amps (Sony 60x4 for $99) but are good quality and reliable..
SVT

it says it 2 ohm is will do 400 and at 4 it will do 200 both by 4 but alot of times with amps like these the numbers are a complete lie its a class a/b and has 2 20 amp fuses theres no way it can do 1600 watts 40 amps times 12 volts is 480 watts before it blows the fuse

is cadence a good brand? ive never heard of them but im not really into the whole audio thing as much as some guys are. i only really want a 4 channel amp so i found this one

also. if anyone know of any other good 1000w+ amps for under $150 that would be cool. i know there isnt really a lot of "good" ones for that price range, but any info is appreciated

also. if i chose that 4 chan cadence. what would be a good size speaker to run. 200w? it says RMS 175w x 4 channel

cadence is a more popular brand ild say go for that amp looks nice fuse rating is 40 x 2 so 80 times 12 is 960 so thats alot better then the other one you were looking at b4. for the speakers i wouldent worrie about what watts they say there all going to take about the same power for what you pay look into bazzoka honestly they are a good bang for the buck company

I'm just going to assume that 200w speakers would be the best then. But yeah. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with this one. It has good reviews from what I can tell and it looks pretty cool.

Ur not gonnaa find. Budget speaakers that are 175 rms. I would go with a set of 6.5 components for the front and some 5x7s coaxials in the back. Im running some audiopipe 6.5s in my ranger on 100 watts rms (sundown 125.2 bridged) and they sound great for what they are. Ill get a link when I get on a actual computer

I personally dnt like bazooka.

Well in reality I only need like 100w speaks if you think about it. If my understanding is correct, with 4 ohm speakers its 125w x 4 channel. So that's only like 32w per speaker. And with 2 ohm speaks it would be like 45w per speaker

no....

125w x 4 means that 125 watts per channel.

thats what i always thought. but my dad told me and then i looked up afterward that it means that there is 125w total with 4 speakers. i found one site online that said that too but i can really find that stuff online? so it is 125w per channel?
also i found on a site that in general you want the amp rms to put out about double what the speaker rms is for optimum sound. that sounded weird to me but i was looking at a set of relatively cheap speakers. i was looking at a set of kenwood 3 ways for the front which are 80w rms and 240w max and for the rear 2 ways ( i have a sub) which are 120w rms and 350w max. does that sound like a good combo?

those are the too speakers

or could someone just suggest a good set of speakers that would be less than $150 for all 4 if possible that would fit my power range
