i've got a question for you ranger 4x4 owners. my stepson's friend has a 1982 or 1983 ranger 4x4, 4cyl, 5sp. for sale. he only wants $100 for it. the truck runs but needs the wiring harness replaced and another cab. i have the know how to do this but was wondering if it would worth the trouble. ive never owned a 4x4 ranger so im not to sure about the trucks. i have owned a '79 f150 4x4, '82 f150 4x4, '90 & 92 ranger 2wd, and a '91 explorer. so what do you think,worth the trouble to "fix up"?

If you plan to fix it up and run it till it dies, yea, it might be worth the trouble... if you're thinking of fixing it and selling it, it probably isn't worth the trouble.
