Question on timing

I've chanced the timimng belt on my 98 with a 2.5 but, I can't get it to start.
I'm trying to start it without installing the alt,power sterring pump and A/C. Will it start with this thing not installed?

if the alternator is out you probly dont have the battery hooked up... at least you shoudnt

Alt is connected it's just out of the way. Battery is low and will need a new one but, it seems to crank the engine at a good speed with the charger on it.
I'm just running out of ideas. Did not get any help o my previous post ENGINE WILL NOT START. I posted a few days ago! Any ideas will be appreciated.

crank or cam sensor?

It won't start without the crank sensor, it will start, eventually, without the cam sensor.
