Question about beds

Does anyone know if there is a difference in the size of an 87 Ranger stepside bed and a 96 stepside bed? I found a tonneau for my 96 but it's off an 87. Thanks in advance.

The size is the same but the style of bed has changed but the size is the same. Just make sure if you have a 6 foot bed that that one is for a 6 foot. Other than that there the same.

they onld made a few gen 1(87) stepsides(search for ranger shadow), i highly doubt they made a tonneau cover for those. however, ever since 93, the stepside ford ranger bed has been the same size. a cover from any 93+ ranger stepside will fit.

heres the STRAIGHT ANSWER....

NO, the tonneau from the '87 will NOT fit your '96 stepside. It will be too wide.

haha nah I think you should keep it up. I change mine every few months anyway, I've had this since sometime in the summer. So if you had yours since you joined, you have had yours longer, lol.
