Pulling out a 2.9 help.

The motor in a b2 im trying to pull is locked up, so I can not get to the converter nuts. Has anybody pulled a motor with the converter still attached? Wanted to ask before I attempted it.

Ive pulled a couple motors with the converter still attached. Its not too bad, just make sure that you can slide the motor far enough forward to completely clear the input shaft. This may mean you need to drop the rear of the tranny or jack up the front.

Also be prepared for a big mess, as the converter hold quite a few quarts of fluid.

I finally got the motor to free up the rings were seized in the cylinders. Thanks for the reply though.
