You'll have to tweak it but they make generic kits for any model. From what I've inferred got propane is helpful if you call them up. Just find the right size for you engine will be the hardest thing to find. But it's just a matter of researching.
You're going to have a hard time finding a full kit.
I'd build my own Impco system: (brief overview)
CA-55 or 60 carb.
Cobra regulator.
VFF-30 vacuum lock-off. (or electric shut-off solenoid ran thru an oil pressure switch.)
Dont forget a hydrostatic blow-off on the main line.
Probably bump the timing just shy of 10°.
If you dont know exactly what all of these parts are (without googling them), its time to do a lot more research before you attempt a swap like this.
I called got propane and they told me nothing. They said they could not help me. I pretty much got put off by them not helping me. I appreciate the help guys. I am not going to do this anytime soon i would like to but I am getting married soon and have to pay for a wedding. But in the mean time I will be doing some more research on this.
I got my Impco system from somebody on Craigslist. Everything including 2 30 gallon tanks for $100! This was several years ago now. I was running a 472 powered Cadillac Coupe Deville . It ran great and at the time I was paying $1.00/gal compared to almost $3.00 for gasoline!
Our kits are specially designed to bolt on carbureted 22R Toyota truck motors, and are designed to use your existing carburetor throttle plates. These are excellent propane conversions - very simple and clean. Most customers report back an increase in power! We test run and tune each and every one of these on our test truck to ensure the best mileage and power. Installation time should take 2 to 5 hours depending on your experience (this includes removal of your existing fuel system). There is little to no fabrication required.
20r Propane kits require the use of a 22r carb base and a 22r carb to 20r manifold carb adapter from L.C. engineering. This only applies to the 20r engine These are street legal as long as your local emissions laws allow it.
