epic failure. now in hunt for new engine.
also battle damage from the 200 dollar brakes setup i bought, spent 2 days rigging up and never even worked. i almost rolled it off a cliff i was so pissed.

ok so i got a new motor...
first one i bought didn't work so now its on to bigger and better things haha
13horse chinese motor from princess auto
it was reg 429.99 +tax but i paid 144 tax in...
thank you friend at p auto haha
running it for the first time (it was warmed up prior to this video)

and i scored some free plastic ill eventually use for panels on the cart...

My uncle had a go cart with a 4 cylinder generator engine and it was a military motor and no idea cc or horse power but the thing was fast and we had a 5hp motor to start it...

got a new set of wheels and tires from princess auto for $132 tax in (on sale 50 % off)
now im in the process of trying to find the best deal on welders

priced out the u joint setup and seeing u joints are 30 each and only rated for 6 hp each i think im gonna try and modify a small car setup...
hmm.
now i just realized i forgot to scan my plans for frame of new go cart...
ok plans are for idependant suspension front and rear, wishbone style rear a arms with some sort of bearing setup to support the wheels. ill draw something up on paint and copy it over

ok so plans changed due to financing issues, no longer going to have suspension (costs close to 500 extra and this cart is not a main project right now...
i do plan on buyin a welder however.
as soon as i get my truck.

FYI taking pictures of weld arcs with a digital camera without a filter or lens blows the ccd sensor. Also, you fellas might want to invest in some gloves, looks like you weren't wearing any when you were welding. Skin cancer can kill you...

princess autos does.
u can literally take anything back for any reason. its what theyre famous for.
no questions just yup.
like we have a compresser, had if for 5 years.
one day it fell over in the trailer, bunch of oil drained out that we didn't know about, plugged it in and i siezed. they didn't carry that model so they gave us a new, better one. its why we go there all the time.
like we returned wheels we bought there cause when we tried to weld on em the tire tubes popped. haha no questions.

wasn't me i have gloves. and i believe this was the only time he welded without gloves.
and i took lots of pics, camera seems fine.
it was my brothers anyways. haha
