looks like the step mounts of my stepside bed. for what its worth, i fabbed new brackets from two piece of angle welded together and the middle cut out to fit around the vertical piece.

i will have to keep that in mind if i ever have to fix one , the floor is starting to rot out of this one , so i got the steel portion of the bed off the 97 parts truck i had that had 46k original miles on it , the other bed is perfect so i am going to swap that on

well the bed is completely off , got the bed off the old parts truck ready with my inner fenders and mud flap/bedside prackets , plus got the brackets bent back that were screwed up , once i get new speed nuts from ford i will put the bed back on

well i got the wiring harness run on the engine today , realized that i put the coolant sensors in the wrong holes in the intake , gonna fix that issue tomorrow , gotta find a fuel line for it from the disconnect to the regulator , then gonna hook the battery up to check for leaks at the fuel injectors , would rather pull the rail now rather than later , pics in a few from last week , none from today though

pics as promised , i am gonna leave the bed two-tone like that just to make people scratch their head

Looking good.. Glad to see I'm not the only one with setbacks!! :D

Thanks Multi , and yea , it has had alot of setbacks , but it is coming together now , though it is going to get put on the back burner once i get the engine back together , since i just bought a parts truck for my old DD and need to fix that before winter comes so i can get my nice truck off the road before they start salting

well the tranny is finished for this one , and we made a '1352M' for it haha , i had a 1350M and someone donated a 1354E to the school , so we took the 6-pinion planet carrier out of the 1354 and put it into the 1350 so i call it the '1352'
