well i went to look this evening, and the truck isnt worth 500
i am really dissapointed to see the driveway covered in oil, the shit-rig on the floor with a screwdriver attached to change gears, and the horrible rust that wasnt suposed to be there

well dont look like im getting a new truck

so the bronco is getting a makeover

taking the rear axle out of the donor, using my spare trans and motor, and using the spare forn axle i got, seeing as how i cant find a d35, and im going to buy a set of 4.10s and a 3" body lift and 32s and fix up the rust and use it as a daily driver when i get my lisence

now the build is really starting to begin

got the old bronco towed up by the shed tonight and got the front body mounts cut off now going to the rear ones in the morning..yay

I wouldn't bother re-gearing the D28 and 7.5. You can pick up a set of Explorer axles for cheaper than it would cost to re-gear the. And no offense at all intended to you but re-gearing is a very precise if-you're-a-little-bit-off-kiss-those-nice-gears-goodbye thing.

Yeah, not to mention you can find 4.10 7.5/D28 fairly easily. I picked up a running 85 B2 with 4.10s for $200.

well got the body mounts cut, wiring unhooked, steering unhooked, ready to roll

of course something was gonna go wrong

so waht i done was put a strap through the passenger and drivers side door and around the roof and hooked on, and the other end at the back of the bronco, so i was gonna tow the cab off the side of the chassis

when my brother and my buddy said go, i went

...whole thing tipped over :D

so it turns out me and my buddy forgot a body mount, the stupid one thats in the chassis not stickin off the chassis, so we couldnt see it.

but my brother wants the rear axle, so its a great place to take it out

edit; oh and i will get a vid of it tomorrow, and pics

its referring to rick james

and its not being an idiot, i just forgot a body mount

yup to be old and wise you must first be young and stupid

and learn from your mistakes, i now know there is a body mount that isnt seperate from the chassis like the rest lol
