? my explorer never rubbed with 31 10.50's. Only spots were the inner fender and the swaybar at full lock. I zip tied my inner fender back and removed my sway bar no issues with rubbing front or rear. You may have 12.50's tho.

Also, WTF is a spare strapped to the roof for?

i have 31 10.50's. my spare is on the roof beacuse i have no room to carry it (yet) im gonna make a roof rack of some sort soon. ill probley try to set it in the rear sometime soon. its snugged down so i kno it wont fall off. i was smart about it; my buddy wanted me to just bungie cord it on

lol not haslin just wondering. Were do your tires rub? I miss my explorer, I went everywhere my friends Nissan Hard body couldn't. They have all the heavy duty stuff there already and there hard to brake. Just don't get into dumping the clutch at high RPM, (like I did) lol

Why are you going through all this just to run 31s?

Take all that money you want to spend on lights and get drop brackets, lift coils, and do a hanger flip (if the exploder runs em that way) or an extended shackle. Then run a body lift and at least stuff 33s. Or else I'm gonna get real sick of towing your ass on the trails!

u kno i could keep with ya on most trails. i mean when u had 33's and my k5 had 31's i was only in 2wd. i think you remember im not scared to beat on my junk. ill make shure to get a pic when i yank you outta a jam

You can prolly go alot more places in that big box than in a ranger. I could get my explorer with 31's to go places my buddy in his nissan with 33-10:50's couldn't. They are heavy and pull like brutes
