I bought a 1993 explorer sport with 4.0 5 speed and auto hubs.I bought it from the original owner. When I got it it had 293,865 miles.Only things done were new clutch and rebuilt transmission. He had also replaced the water pump and put in a new windshield. The windshield was due to a fender bender due to snow and sliding into a bridge. The wreck also got the drivers side door. Here are a couple of pictures.

The plans are small build.Six inch skyjacker class two lift and 3" body lift. With 35 12.50's on a set of eagle 589's 15x12.I am putting 4.56's in it.I have a 95 8.8 with rear disk brakes with a factory LS.I got the 4.56's put in the front spare third I had and here is the rear 8.8 getting some love.
Sandblasted and epoxy primed.

Thinking about hammered gray for the front beams and rear axle. What does everyone think?

The reason for the build is the factory rear has so much slack in it it binds up sometimes when I back up.And I need front brakes, abs sensor and ball joints so I am going to go ahead and do it all at onetime.I am building it sensible because I use it as a parts chaser.I have driven it over 1200 miles before in one weekend to FL.I have everything execpt shocks and steering(super runner).

Why would you lift it that high if you wanted a daily driver?
