Fyi, that company requires a 3/4 ton or larger truck, if you have a 3/4 or 1 ton it has to be a dually. Looks like i'm a no go.

Yeah, I'm looking at a new 450 crew cab...thinking about starting in a couple months, maybe around the 1st of the year...
SVT

If i had the coin for a new crew cab 450 my project would be completed by now....

Lol, I know what you mean, but I plan to use the income to pay for the truck, instead of me paying for it...I just filed for bankruptcy about 6 months ago, so I should be guaranteed a loan...lol
SVT

Ah. I refuse to go into any debt at all. I'll sell the truck and live on rice and beans before i get a loan. I did marry a student loan though, taking care of that before the interest gets out of hand....

I feel the same way, but I fear of a layoff myself and hate working for other people...it seems the older I get the more demanding they get...
SVT

do they grow, store, and ship grain where you live? when i get layed off i have a job lined up at an Illinois grain inspection office. the job is not a state or federal job, just requires a state and federal license. the office here pays pretty well too. any work done before 700 or after 1500 is time and a half. Saturday is time and a half. Sunday is double time. if you are clocked in for anything less than 4 hours in a day you get payed for 4 hours (if you clock in at 2300 on Tuesday and out at 0100 on Wednesday, you get payed for 8 hours) they only give you assignments when you want assignments (if you only want to work from 1800 - 0600, you will not get assignments outside of those hours) you area reimbursed for travel outside of x miles (i forget how many)

That's pretty kool, wish I could find one of those around here...I don't believe we have any of those around here. I live close to Ft. Campbell, and not having a military background really hurts people around here cause retired military are scooping up all the skilled jobs at almost minimun wage pay. It sucks for the rest of us around here, let me tell ya

Very cool project! For once I am nearby one of these builds! Would love to check it out in person one day. Holler if you need a hand sometime. You still have that hood? If its straight, I might take it off your hands.

I stopped by to help him unload his Ranger into a storage building, and let's just say he's got his work cut out for him. lol

I'm also nearby if anyone wants to meet up for a mini-Ranger meet, or a beer.. I don't have any safe (legal) off-road spots so if you guys know some that are legal to play at then hit me up!

GB :)

So where exactly are you jimbo?

Thanks again bird! Remember, if you need something just let me know.
