Time for Cash 'N Carry Redux.

Wife is sick of the Expedition, thinks it is too big, wanted an Explorer again.

We have been looking for a few weeks, and today we went and bought an 04 4.0 Explorer from a little used car lot. $1529, out the door.

Body and underside are clean, interior is a bit of a mess, but I have a recon guy who owes me a favor or two. Transmission shifts real smooth, looks like everything works on it. We did the paper work, I gotta run back up in an hour or so with a battery and bring it home.

I picked up an 02 Limited for $400! Needed the shifter fixed on the column, $55. Put a coil pack in and replaced a wheel bearing so I have around a $1000 in it. Was going to steel the 4.6l out of it but it was too nice so we decided to keep it for awhile as a back up vehicle. Only has one minor ding in the right rear quarter at the wheel opening. Interior is filthy but overall, most everything works. I started a thread on help with the power seat, so any help would be appreciated. Likely will sell this come spring so I can further by BII project Lab Wagin'.
