so right now my 2000 3.0 2wd ranger with 76,000km is gettin around 11mpg, my buddy suggested putting seafoam through the brake booster to clean it out. just wondering if any of you guys have tried this or have heard of anything like this, also wat are your thoughts on intake cleaners that you dump in your gas tank?

that topic has pages of debate just look for it on page 2 or 3

I think the general consensus is 'apply it properly and it will only do good things'.

If your wondering, Injector cleaner seemed to work wonders on my 2.9, really helped reduce bog. haha new issues to deal with now!

11mpg...I think something other than a dirty intake/combustion chamber is effecting the mileage. Faulty sensor, leaky hose, intake leak.

My thoughts on additives in gas tank such as injector cleaners. seafoam is a respected brand.
