right now im trying to install new torq keys on my 2002 ranger i got the old ones off and the new keys positioned but i can't get the new keys to compress far enough to even get the block in. im using a heavy 2 tooth puller to compress and it seems that due to the shape of the cross member i can't push on the key vertically, it seems that it wants to push diagnally inward and the puller almost slips off of the notch in the key. can any one give me some tips who has done this please !!!!!!! my truck is stuck on jack stands!!:shout:

You may have the wrong ones.

You're problem is becoming more and more apparent lately. People are having trouble installing these new "keys". I don't recommend them whatsoever, they are a huge waste of money. You can achieve the 1.5-2" of recommended lift from the stock keys and torsion bars. If you can't, get new higher rated torsion bars. These keys are the pits.

If the front end is off teh ground, disconntect the shock, it will let the whell travel down more, and might give u enough to get the t bar in
