Problem with New Truck

I just bought a 1999 Ranger 4-Door with the 4.0 V6. I have a problem with the Airbag light. It comes on, blink for a while and stays lit. Sometimes it dont come on. Where should I start? Thanks

When it is blinking it is doing so in a specific order, it is giving you a code to help diagnose.

if u just bought it id take it back to the dealer, odds are they just reset the computer to sell the truck and it kicked on later

Gospel.......I'd be pissed if I just bought a truck and suddenly the airbag light came on. Ever seen one of those things go off in real time?
