I do not know why that link isn't working for me. What's the vid called so I can search for it.

Why would you be pissed? It's not like they forced the guy to bring his Jeep to a demolition derby race... They would have tapped anyways, which would have ruined the bodywork even worse!

Its not a demolition derby race, its spectator drags which is supposed bring your dd and have fun racing it, not worrying about the a hole thats gonna trash your nice new ride.

Then lets race. Your daily driver and my Nissan. Not only will I win, I'll smash the hell out of your truck too.

These aren't demo races. They are regular races and your not meant to touch eachother, at all. I am almost positive that the second video was directly followed by a lawsuit, and most likely a SERIOUS ass kicking.

Maybe we didn't see the same video. The one I watched shows a guy getting intentionally wrecked. They are supposed to race around the track without hitting one another.

Uh - thanks for the description I think. That's about the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Maybe his parents are still paying for his insurance. I just don't understand why you'd take a perfectly good car, ram it into someone else's and piss them off so bad, they ram you back. Grow up or get in some real race cars and swap paint.

The second one is just down right messed up. Id be so damn pissed off. Then again......

Why take something that nice to a track like that with other drivers that could hit you on accident in the 1st place?? It happens...

not like that though, that was just cheap.

I daily drive a Ford Explorer Sport dude (Mazda Navajo, same truck who cares)... You REALLY want to bring a dang NISSAN against this thing? I'll also add that I can afford to replace my truck cash on the spot. I won't drive anything that I cannot afford to do that with. I'll also add that my Ford 4.0 is not stock, and I am willing to bet it'd smash the snot out of most any Nissan in a straight up 1/4 mile drag, minus the Z32TTs and newer Z cars and latest gen Maximas. Even if I can't keep up, I drive an old Ford. I can GUARAN****INTEE my body panels will outlast your jap crap on a short oval with no holds barred. Come up to Maine for a vacation. I'll put you up for a week, and if you are not a diehard Ford fan by the end of it, I've got plenty of firearms you can borrow as a solution.

Anyways, my original point, and my current point, is you are a complete RETARD if you take a nice daily driver to an event where many people expect body damage. If you disagree with me, then you are saying the Jeep driver should have expected the Chevy driver to give him a wide berth no matter what.

Yeah, it's a dick move to sandbag a start and pit maneuver another truck, but it's even more retarded, by like ten fold, to bring a truck racing that you don't want dented when wheel to wheel racing. I seriously can't find any other way to look at it. Otherwise, he would have had to have an agreement and a handshake with the Chevy driver not to touch. If they shook on it, I could understand being mad. Am I wrong?

EDIT - I'd also like to add that I am well educated on what each and every Nissan can do, as I am not just a Ford guy. I'm a jack of all trades. Hell, what do you drive? Wanna run a '67 Mustang with a modern 331 stroker and a solid roots setup? If you're a pussy I can always bring a mostly stock '01 Mustang Cobra to race your Nissan. I may not own either of those cars, but both owners are right here willing to go.

For the record, I have a '87 Merkur XR4Ti running 20lbs reliably that I think can run 30lbs no problems, and would sacrifice as long as the other car was equally valued. I honestly, as a United Stated Cavalry Scout 19D, do not give a flying **** if this motor explodes or not.

Edit - cmon koda, it's only the 4th drivetrain I've had in this car...................

You get angry pretty fast. :icon_rofl:

I was only stating that you wouldn't like to get one of your vehicles smashed up on a track, when your entering in a common spectator race. Daily driver or not. There's no need to fly off the handle and start calling me a pussy threatening me. Grow up a little, your probably well into your life if you have that many vehicles floating around.

By the way, I said I would use my Nissan because I don't give a damn about what happens to it, since I would be smashing it into your vehicle first thing as did the chevy and the jeep. The Nissan is a 95 hardbody, definitely not a racing vehicle or anything fast at all. Hell, it would probably break in half before I got off the line. I'm just trying to get you to understand that the guy was pissed because of how much of an asinine move it was. No one wants their car smashed up, it could have been a 80's jeep and he still would have been pissed. Same with the little red car.

I'm done with this argument, and I'm not going to get into it with you because it's clear you have your mind made up. But thanks for the interesting conversation. You amused me for a while. :icon_thumby:
