cut and turned beams, extended radius arms, and some chevy 63" springs.
if all done yourself and you have the know how could save you a ton of money. but those are what i would look at building or buyin

first mod, and its almost free, flip your rear hangers so the shackles are pointing up, just support the rear of the truck, grind off the rivets, flip hangers "upside down", bolt back on using new grade 8 hardware. youll gain a little travel but loose a little height, a longer shackel will add travel, main point its almost free

i think you would be shocked to find out what can be done to a ranger without any suspension mods. if you cut out the fenders, put on 31's and remove bumpers it could be a half way fun ride. i'm not saying that you shouldn't mod the suspension, just saying that you don't have to spend a million dollars on four link and equal lengths. search, read, learn and make your own stuff, it's fun.
