Radius Arms: the home made, whats the travel that you gained, i also have a 2wd and have the 5 in lift, but i researched longer arms and don't really wanna pay 600 when i know i can build them cheaper. just wanting to know if it made the suspension smoother, and whats the travel.

I never did measure the total travel I know that I am limited by the shocks that came with the pro comp kit, when I get it put back together Im going to be using a 10" remote resovior shock that will give me between 12" to 14" with my radius arms and longer I beams thats the limit when using coils and shocks. The radius arms I built were not cheap, the difference in the dollar, 1 1/4 heims, steel, and some machine work, if shipping to newfoundland wasn't so expensive I would have bought them although I think mine are stronger than alot of whats on the market.

as for smoothness, it made the truck alot smoother off road but I got a little more instability on the road, im not running a sway bar though, maybe a set of sway bar disconnects would solve that problem

You should check out the classifieds at www.race-dezert.com and www.dezertrangers.com, lots of cheap parts for 2wd there also lots of info on the forums but a lot more drama then TRS so I would just search the forums for the answer instead of posting.

yeah there is alot of parts for cheap but the shipping and the customs charges make it cheaper and way more rewarding for me to build, with a little bit of homework and the tallent of me and a few friends, one who is a extermely talented machinest, we can build anything
