Im not looking for a ton of power just a little more pep in my DD and I agree the exhaust and headers is mostly for the sound, but it could help a fair bit. Everybody seems to either love or hate the electric fan I'm going to give it a shot myself and decide.

I don't see any point in spending money on external upgrades to an engine (turbo doesn't apply)... For what you would spend on all that stuff you can open up the motor and gain twice the power you can with bolt ons... It's your time and money though...

Thats why im getting the newer style intake from the 02+ ranger or 01+ Taurus. It comes with the removable style of throttle body and several people have adapted it to work.

You know what I just realized--the 3.0 has a longer stroke than the 2.9: 3.15 vs. 2.835.

The stump puller 3.0. Disregard any 2.9 praise--it's a short-stroke high revver.
