Power Window issues

i have an issue with my power window my passenger side window rolls down but not up unless i switch the power sources (negative to positive positive to negitive) while hitting the roll down button i already tried changing the window switches anyone have thoughts on what it may be and a fix?

Have you tried the pass side switch and the driver's side pass window switch for the pass side window? What can you determine from that? The pass side power for the pass side window passes through the driver's side switch.

I had a similar problem on PS window. It turned out to be corrosion on the DS switch. I cleaned up the switch and socket and it's been perfect for several years.

i replaced both switches and it didnt fix the problem

Sounds like you might have an open in the harness between the 2 switches or the plugs have high resistance. Have you tried contact cleaner and have you probed both plugs yet?
