Power Issues?

did anyone run into any power issues while running 33" tires on a 4.0 ohv?

No. I run a 4:10 gear. No issues, lot of power and great gas mileage on the highway. A bit less gas mileage around town in stop and go traffic.

whatever they come with stock... and im just wondering if im going to end up burning out my clutch or anything with stock gears, or if i should re gear it...

You have to find out what your stock gears are before any questions can even be answered

Great, they had available from the factory 4.10s, 3.73s, 3.27, and in the stupid high end 3.08s.


Why does everyone assume that "whatever gears it had stock" is a helpful response to "what gears do you have"?

Come to think of it, isn't there even a sticky in the axle section that explains what gears are recommended based on tire and engine size? I can't tell on my phone.

what sorta mpg do you get on the highway? i'm running 4.56's and over half of my daily drive is highway so i might try and like change to 4.10's later, if it's worth the mpg gain.
