My small collection. I need a short-box Ranger and a 4-door Explorer to have a complete "one of each body style" collection. I only like pre-OBD2 trucks, so nothing after 1994. Here the three runners are paying homage to the Venerated Yard Ornament.

I got this truck when I was 15 and its been my wife ever since. 1994 4.0 4x4 Manual. I've never spent $1 on labor and I know the 1FTCR15XXRPB03588 by heart.


Stock with lock rite D35 and Trac loc 8.8 (im 18 yrs old)

It was probably one of us after hearing "what size tires can I put on my ...." for the thousandth time. And they do fit very nicely in the bed. So we were right.

My before pics. Going to roll up all 4 into two...
-87 4wd black has rebuilt engine, runs great, but no so much on the whole stopping and holding antifreeze things...
-Red 97 runs & stops great, a little wobbly in the steering and rattles here and there
-87 in the weeds, no engine/trans, $150 for it for parts (if anyone wants it after me)...
-Purple 93 engine runs great and transmission is smooth, but hard to prove with the current “vapor“ clutch fluid. Taking wide wheels, seat and a few other parts, already willed to another TRS for engine & tranny

Yeah, I was born and raised in New Jersey and went to college in upstate New York. My first truck, a 3WD Chevy (it was 4WD 16 years before I got it) was so rusty that the bed sides would flap in the wind, and you could step on the ground like Fred Flintstone. I’ve always been a collector, and it’s been like Christmas candy every day since I moved down here 40 years ago.
