ya i have the same tire and wheel combo and i haave 3.73
i need tofix that right after i fix the trans

yeah, maybe thats why your trans went out? might had to work a little harder with the 3.73's. make sure when u replace it u put on an external tranny cooler. gotta keep it cool! (if yours is an auto). how long did u drive it with ur setup before it went out? ur BII looks really good though! i wish i wouldve gotten bfg's.

its not bad with 4.56's. it will still spin the tires in gravel and grass if you want it to...but on the pavement its no speed demon. but i guess u cant expect much from the 2.9. thats a lot of rotational mass to sling around!

i just use mine for a weekend cruiser and when it snows.

Gotta love snow pics! This is an AWESOME pic! like the front bumper also....suimple but the welds and what not make it look really good!

It's an 89', 2.9, A4LD trans (despite my signature quote), manual t-case & lockouts. Superlift 6'' front lift w/brackets, coils and shocks all bought together in a package deal. Still the stock Dana 28, I run 4.56 gears on the street, and i had a spare 3.73 D28 differential that i "Lincoln" Locked for mud bog racing. In the rear I have Skyjacker 6'' Softride leafs, with Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shocks. The rearend is a 8.8 out of a 91 4.0L Ranger, it has a Ford. Performance Parts locker in it. When i bogged i geared it down almost a "full ratio" and ran smaller tires up front, just like all the "pro" trucks do around here. I think i was one of the only 4&6 cylinder competitors to do that. And as far as the steering goes all i've done is added a drop pitman arm, but i'd like to have a D35 and that "supper runner" steering, buuuut i think a early Bronco D44 is next for performance mods...

89 Bronco 6" skyjacker lift, 33 BFG'S, Dana 35, 8.8 Rear

That's the exact same color scheme as my '90 Bronco II! They seem to be pretty rare. I think mine was even more rare since I had a stock tubular bumper on the rear. Still haven't found anything like it.

I hope to have mine in here before long, I'm getting tired of it not being pretty. :(
