Possible new Ranger

What's to break on that B2? It's as simple a vehicle as you could wish for. For their faults, non of my Rangers ever broke down. They got irritating at times, but they are too simple of vehicles to outsmart you. Spend a little time reinforcing it's weak points rather than getting another payment. That Ranger isn't going to be more reliable than your B2.

How the heck can I make it so the rear brakes actually stop the truck in the snow...gets scary when you touch the pedal and both fronts lock up almost instantly sending the truck into an uncontrollable skid.

I just saw this truck and thought it was a good deal.

I am not looking hard for a truck. But if it falls in my lap....

In snowy weather, driving a 5 speed, one of the first things I do before hitting the brakes is slam it down a gear or two...this usually gets the back wheels dragging a bit to start the slow down...

That is, of course, if I'm not hammering the brake pedal in emergency stopping...but even then I almost instinctively clutch and downshift...
