while the angles match they still bump steer due to the angle, and often promote the wobble at the first opportunity of anything getting loose of softened.. the level of that depends on rate of the springs, sway setup etc.


since your good with it like it is....you must be a wheeler.


i say that because ime...some people....just freak out when going from stock to this after they drive around a bit. many times its due mainly to wasted used 38 in mudders they can run after the swap...bug there's no set rules on this.

Thats weird that the drive shaft is too long.

You are sure that your leaf springs are oriented correctly? Short side towards the cab?

Are you running shackles or lift blocks in addition to the lift leaves?

seen the other thread...its a spaced 8.8......wrong springs for application.

Just redrill the holes in the spring perch and U bolt plate and slide the axle back an inch.... easy fix!

theres a definate notice since the sway bars are gone, but i was expecting it to be "bad" on the road sway wise. i have no compliants on how it handles. i knew it was going to be worse with the sways gone.

im not sure but skyjacker dude said short side towards front, thats what i have. no shackles just lift blocks with the lift springs.

tid bit of an update...getting driveline shortened, dude said i should have it back before the weekend. having a hell of a time trying to find wheels for those 315/75r16. have had them on CL for bout a week now and not one phone call.

I thought that not only did the drag link and the track bar have to be at the same angle but also the same length?

But if it drives fine then mess with a good thing?

I don't know for sure, but they are pretty close in length as well. Can't wait to get my driveline back. Hopefully today!!!!

Got the driveline back. Was fairly cheap, 78 bucks for shortening, balance, new boot, and ujoint. Drives like a champ now. No binding or grinding. Slight wobble but i think thats from the Shitty roller tires I have on temporarily.

couple more things i need to complete before i take her out and test her on the trails...
front driveline shortened
gears for rear
leaf spring hangers
better brake set-up
hopefully i can purchase this stuff this week or so.
