port and polish heads?

im wanting to part and polish my heads and intake manifold. Has anyone done this? was it worth it, and what differences did you notice?

This is a cheap way of improving flow. It is time consuming and if you make a mistake, good by heads.

The best way is to read the Tech Article here and find an old cylinder head to practice on BEFORE you trash yours.

A well done port and polish is good for spinning up. Easier revving and some Power gains. Add a free flow exhaust to complement the port and polish. You local muffler shop can do a better job and cheaper than a custom mail order exhaust.
