popping and backfiring during acceleration

hey need some help..
im gonna sell my ranger but i dont want to put it up for sale until i fix this dumb problem it got a couple months ago.
when i accelerate hard it makes a intake noise almost like if it had a cold air intake but its all stock it also pops and backfires trough the intake...

i cleaned the maf and the iac ...didnt change nothing,

its a 98 ranger 4.0 ohv stock

idk id say make sure the plugs and wires are good and hokked up correctly

i´ll check the cables but everything is hooked up correctly ´cause nobody has screwed with the plugs before it started screwing up.. and the truck runs fine once you pump the pedal a couple few times to get the rpms up
