I took the side windows and rear window (the ones in the truck were clear and the ones I got from the parts truck were the factory tint/ mirrored style) out of a '95 B2300 and put them directly into my '93 Ranger. The hardest part by far, was getting the gooey-sealer crap off the window/ frame.
The non-pop-out windows are held in with 4 bolts if I recall (possible 6, but I'm pretty sure it's 4), and the pop-outs are held in with 4 rivets in the front, and then 2 bolts for the back latch part.
I guess I'll do a little write up because I'm board.
Removal:
remove all the interior panels from the back of the truck, I'll let you figure that one out, it isn't too hard. Then you will see the 4 bolts that hold in the side window in, I don't recall what size they are, but undo all 4, then carefully push outward on the window while somebody waits on the outside. The gooey sealer will just kind of stretch for the most part, and it might come off in a few places. Just keep slowly pushing on the window until it comes loose from the goo. I simply used a gasket scraper to get the remainder of the sealer off the window opening, and it just rolls off the window side with your finger. That is about all there is to the removal.
Installation:
First I put the rubber weather striping around the edge of the window opening. The holes for the pivot bracket in the front of the window are already in the window opening/ cab, you just have to hold the window in place and rivet the suckers in. Then in the back, you will need the clip-nut things (I don't know the real name, but they just clip onto the cab, Ford uses a lot of them) that clip around the metals holes to act as the nut, then you must mark and drill the interior panel so that the latch bolts can go through the panel. If I recall, the spots were actually marked on the inside with a little bump of some kind from the factory. Then you must reinstall the interior side molding, then you're ready to put the latch on. From what I remember it was kind of tricky to get the bolts lined up with the latch piece, panel, and clip nuts, but it is possible. After that, you are done.
My side windows were really stiff at first because I think they had never been opened very much. I use them all the time, so now they open much easier.
