My spark plugs wont fire. I just replaced the ignition coils because only two of the plug in's were working. but now it has pretty much the same problem. it is not the plugs, i tested with a good plug, it worked on two plug in's on the passenger side ignition coil, but not on the other two, and the right coil doesn't fire at all. do you guys have any clue what is wrong with it? thanks oh its a 1991 btw

Might be the crank sensor.

When it goes bad, no spark.

check your ground wires too

But 2 out of the 8 are working, also its not the plug wires, i used one wire to check all of the plug in's.

a friend told me to check and see if a wire from the coils is broke somewhere along the line, i am gonna check on that tonight.

also, when i tested the plugs, i put the threads against the throttle plate, wouldn't that mean the engine is grounded if they sparked? or is it another ground wire that is specific to the coil packs?
