I have a 2004 XLT with the 4x4 Off Road set up (whatever that is)
Now when I initially measured the front/back height it was front 31" from bottom lip of rim to bottom lip of fender well (both sides. The back was using the same spot on wheel 36" driver side, 38" pass side. So yesterday I replaced all four shocks with Monroe Reflex (the FX4 ones) put leaf clamps on rear of bottom leaf ( end facing the back of truck) on both springs. Also spray painted the entire under carriage of truck...you name it, I sprayed it. When I let the truck down and remeasured the front and back..the front was now 30" and the back is now 32". I drove it around over all sorts of stuff, and when I did it again it was still 3)" front...32" back. How did that happen. But the truck now looks completely level. No more rake.
