Does anyone still want dana 60 pics?

Is there anyone that still wants pics of a dana 60 in a truck? I got a 78/79 style in one truck that I can post pics of and a 84-up kingpin style in another truck that I can post pics of. Just let me know and I can get some pics if you want.

Ford 9"

shortened a total of 9"(4 1/2" each side), from a 1978 F-150, swapped the 2.75 gears for 3.89. New end flanges are from Quick Performance Racing. Ford Racing 11" drums(still get to keep the 5x4.5 wheel pattern). Drain hole was added as was the new shock mounts.

This was actually one of the easier setups that my brother and I tackled. As long as your math is right, everything should come out nicely.

No more weakness, no more c-clips or rear diff covers.:yahoo: Perfect!!!!:icon_thumby:

Here are some pics of 79 ford dana 60 fronts.

pics of the axle installed.

I also have a 79 d60 in my 74 bronco.

1995 D60

1. Its a ball joint 60

2. Its has calipers/Knuckles specific to 94+ D60's. The Knuckles are different then the earlier ball joint 60's

These calipers are about impossible to grind to clear 15" rims with any more then 2.5" back spacing. I had to run a reverse mount rim with 2" Back spacing and still had to grind calipers to clear.

I had to remove 1.5" off the drivers side housing to gain clearance on the tube for the wedges. The 80's+ Ford 60's have a much smaller Left side shaft which makes for less room on that side of the tube.

the reverse mount rims, I welded a set of D44 wedges I removed from a 77 f150 housing and grinded them to fit the 60 tubes.

Here is a SRW 14 bolt (prior to 1988) that has been shaved 1.75"s ( the housing is upside down in the pic)
